Scientific and cultural network
Agreements and conventions for joint research projects – with Italian and overseas universities, cultural academies and institutions, and international organizations – in various fields of institutional activity.
Conservation and development
Acquisition and conservation of all types of records and evidence regarding the historical, artistic, cultural and environmental heritage of African and Asian countries.
Archaeological campaigns
Missions in Egypt, Sudan, Armenia, Pakistan and Thailand: campaign histories, results and discoveries, research prospects, related studies using up-to date methods.

Teaching activities
Lessons in regional African and Asian languages taught by native speakers and/or western specialists with particular attention to cultural contexts.
